OC wins Northeast Championship!!!
Harmon Park, by Steve England, ESVN - It's a joy to watch when two player's intensely want to win! Broadway was the underdog in this match, but he made up for it with drive and determination!
When Nate arrived - He unsheathed Excalibur from it's protective cover, then promptly laid waste to BW's quest for glory!The games went to OC one after another until he lead 5-0 in the first! Then... suddenly Broadway comes alive! BW closes with three straight games to reach 5-3, before a forehand error on set-point gives Nate the first battle of the war!
BW falls behind in the second as well, but battles back to tie, then jumps ahead 4-3! Nate counters by edging into the lead again! Leading 5-4... Nate holds several match points against Broadway. Kevin's determination was evident! He fought off the match points, and held several game-points himself! BW just couldn't get the upper hand on Excalibur's master! Nate becomes Northeast Champion, 6-3,6-4!!!
