Schewe makes the West Semifinals!

KS defeats MM 6-4,6-4.

By Steve England, ESVN - Schewe's consistency coupled with Mark's unforced errors were a recipe for a KS victory.  Although Mark cut Schewe's lead from 5-2 to 5-4... MM loses a Schewe lob in the sun to go triple set-point down!  Serving to stay alive in the first - Mark nails a wickedly smoking serve, only to see the shot returned by young Schewe!  Mark's response is wild-wide.  Schewe takes the first-set 6-4.

Mark jumps to a 2-0 lead in the second.  It's looking good for MM as he extends further to 4-3, but loses his serve permitting Schewe to tie!  Mark's ground strokes weren't quite firing on all cylinders!  This allowed a consistent Schewe to take the lead.  At triple match-point down - Mark attempts an overhead slam, only to watch it sail long.  Schewe wins: 6-4,6-4!
