Axtell loses struggle to bag Angry Jeff!

By Steve England, ESVN - Last year CA held a set-point against MN, but was unable to close the deal!  MN forced a tie-breaker then went on to victory.  With a much improved game, and his first TowerTennis victory under his belt - CA looked to avenge last year's loss to Angry-Jeff.

The early games were neck and neck with multiple swaps between deuce/add, deuce/add.  CA pulls ahead at 4-3, but aided by amazing backspin shots - MN evens the score, then jumps ahead.  MN takes the 1st-set 6-4.

Up one set to none, MN holds a constant lead in the second.  Leading 5-2, Angry-Jeff is only 2-points from another victory, when Axtell comes alive to overtake. Chris closes to 5-3... effectively dodging a bullet, but falls at the hands of Angry-Jeff the very next game.  MN tops CA again 6-4, 6-3.  Note: Play-by-Play coverage provided by Mary Axtell.
