Sunday Buildup - Will today bring a JT renaissance?

By Steve England, ESVPN -- When DR eliminated JT from competition in last year's tournament - we closed a chapter on the aging Dynasty-Champ.  Just as quickly as his meteoric rise to Dynasty status had occurred... Suddenly, two years of two-and-out performances seemed to end the JT era.  New faces arose to become both Champion, and contenders!  We as a group, had grown out of our infancy, and collectively moved on!

Today's match between DR and JT could prove that move to be somewhat premature.  If we wipe the dust from the Dynasty-Champs racket... is it possible he could reemerge as a viable candidate for the title?  Is he like an un-extinguished ember waiting to reignite and set our tournament ablaze?

JT faces a tough opponent in DR!  A man with 7-lives (only seven because he's already used up two of his nine). A man who has beaten every serious challenger he has faced.  A man who only gets better with age.  A man who's progeny is a collegiate tennis star!

Today's match could prove to be historic!  Will DR extinguish the JT era for good, or will there be a renaissance?  Will JT rise like a phoenix to recapture TowerTennis glory, or will he fade from prominence like a flickering flame snuffed out in the wind?
